The hotel was exceptionally comfortable and stunningly beautiful. We appreciated its exceptionally nice staff. The location was great and stunning to the mall across the street. Besides, it was close to San Jose as well as Bay Street shopping/eating and other shopping/eating areas. The lobby bar was nice!

The hotel itself is nice, kind, with a nice design in the room. There was a mini fridge and a coffee maker in our room. Next to the reception - a mini-shop, where you can buy something for a snack: quickly brewed vermicelli, snacks, in the fridge - salads, pizza, etc. There's also a microwave. There are two shopping malls next to the hotel. The first one has a Trader Joe's supermarket, the other one has several cafes across the street: with Mexican, Italian, Japanese cuisine. We got to the NF and back by taxi. The price at the weekend was $15-35, lasting 30-60 minutes.
Breakfast is not included in the price of a rather expensive, even by American standards, room. Room cleaning was carried out only once in 4 days of our stay. That is, neither garbage was cleaned, nor towels were changed. There were serious traffic jams at the entrance to the bridge across the bay. Paid parking. But the most unpleasant thing is that on this very paid parking lot, surrounded by a fence, where you have to enter under the barrier, and also to leave, in the morning of departure from the hotel unknown people broke the windows of the driver and front passenger in the rented car. Turns out there were no security cameras. And the barrier is open in the morning - get in and out! What an interesting coincidence. The policeman who was called said they were most likely broken up for a robbery, not a hijacking. And when they came to change the car at a nearby rental, we were told that this was the fifth time in the week we were there. We had to insist at reception that the price of the parking lot be removed from the general account. They did. I mean, we had to spend over an hour filling out insurance papers and changing cars.

Good location if you don't need to go downtown.
Going downtown was horrible. The bridge was backed up. We also used the pool and about 30 min of being in there 40 teenages invaded the area. They were rude and jumped in and out of the pool. My little kids were frightened by them. No adults to watch them. We told the staff and they did nothing. This was a very bad experience for us. I am fine with sharing the area but not being run out.

The newly renovated room is extremely clean and the bed is incredibly comfortable, with amenities including cable TV, a fridge, and coffee/tea making facilities. Rewritten: The room has been recently updated and is super clean, plus the bed is really comfy, with extras like TV, a fridge, and coffee/tea.
